What measures does PWI take to make sure my information is secure?

Security is our priority. We know that without your trust and support, we would not be able to impact the work of nonprofits around the world. We employ bank grade security systems to keep the data safe and protected. All transactions use SSL to keep the flow of information safe and verified. Your banking information is tokenized and stored in a PCI compliant system.

We partner with Stripe© a secure payment processing software known internationally for being a game-changer in online payment processing. Stripe© handles the payment processing for companies like Amazon, Google, Spotify, Facebook, Microsoft, Kickstarter, Salesforce, UNICEF, Habitat for Humanity, and Uber, just to name a few, and we trust PWI users with them too. We utilize Stripe© for PWI Swipe transactions, as well as for the PWI Foundation.

All donations given through a nonprofit’s PWI Profile are processed through the nonprofit’s payment gateway — not Project World Impact. This also applies to any and all other PWI Products, including PWI Crowdfund, PWI GroupGive, PWI Auction and PWI Events (when ticketing is activated).
